# NativeCAD 0.19.0 "Christie" — revolve trims, FEA without a solver, and eight reported fixes

**172 tools: the 170 from 0.18.3, plus `cad_rtl` (lint, simulate and toggle coverage for Verilog RTL) and `cad_synth` (yosys synthesis against a PDK liberty).** Installs on 0.17.2 and later get this release through the self-update: `cad_configure {update:"now"}` installs it, and `{autoUpdate:"auto"}` installs it by itself. Restart Claude to finish.

* **A round boss on a cone or cylinder can be trimmed at the wall** (CADSF-100921). Subtracting, intersecting or splitting a revolved body with one plane, cylinder or cone now gives an exact trim with one analytic cap, in about a second, instead of a refusal or hundreds of faceted faces.
* **FEA has no dead end without a solver** (CADSF-100005). `cad_fea_case` exports a CalculiX/Abaqus `.inp` or Nastran `.bdf` deck with no solver installed; `cad_fea_run` takes `deckOnly`, and `solver_missing` now returns the deck plus how to install a solver and retry.
* **Chips and boards:** `cad_rtl` and `cad_synth` (CADSF-100587, CADSF-100588) refuse by name when verilator, iverilog or yosys is not installed; `cad_pcb action:"package"` checks FCBGA, chiplet, HBM and wire-bond packages and the die/package/board fit (CADSF-100295).
* **Faster, cleaner booleans:** cylinders unioned onto a prism cap stay analytic (~0.3 s), and `cad_shell` refuses a pinched neck by name with the widest wall that fits.
* **Fixed reported issues:** FBR-000068, FBR-000065, FBR-000062, FBR-000061, FBR-000056, FBR-000047, FBR-000046, FBR-000038. See the changelog for each.
