# packages/mcp/plugin/.mcpbignore — CADSF-372 (MCP-8)
#
# Extra exclusions for `mcpb pack`, on top of its own defaults (.git,
# node_modules/.cache, node_modules/.bin, *.map, lockfiles, .DS_Store, …).
# build.js copies this file into the staged directory it packs, since mcpb
# reads .mcpbignore from the directory it is packing, not from this one.
#
# Kept deliberately short: this repo does not vendor anything unusually large,
# and an over-eager ignore list that accidentally drops a runtime file is a
# worse failure mode than a few extra kilobytes of a dependency's own docs.
# CADSB-221: patterns MUST be anchored to the pack root. The unanchored `dist/`
# that used to sit here was applied recursively by `mcpb pack` and gutted the
# dist/ folder of TWELVE runtime dependencies inside node_modules (ajv first —
# its package main IS dist/ajv.js), shipping a .mcpb that died on `initialize`
# with nothing in the host log. Exactly the failure mode the header above warns
# about. `*.map` is also scoped to node_modules-safe: mcpb's own defaults
# already drop maps, keep ours for parity but never re-add an unanchored dir.
*.map
*.log
/.stage/
# `/dist/` used to be listed here to keep this directory's own build output
# (plugin/dist/*.mcpb) out of the archive. Since CADSF-1128 the staged bundle IS
# dist/server.min.js, and build.js copies this file INTO the stage dir it packs,
# so that rule deleted the server from every CLI-packed bundle (the 0.8.0
# release build: an 87 KB .mcpb with bin/ and README but no dist/ —
# caught by build.js's completeness check, CADSB-774). The stage dir never
# contains plugin/dist, so the rule is simply gone.
