Up and running in a minute

One file, one click. Pick your product, then the app you use Claude in. The quickest route is Claude Cowork or Claude Desktop with the .mcpb.

  1. Download featureboard.mcpb
  2. Open the file. Claude shows the install card. Press Install (or Save).
  3. Claude Desktop also takes it from Settings → Extensions → Advanced → Install Extension.

Server plus the featureboarding and daily-plan skills in one install. Needs Node.js 18+.

featureboard.plugin

  1. Download featureboard.plugin
  2. In Claude, go to Customize → Plugins → Add → Upload plugin and choose the file.
  3. Start a new Claude Code session. The plugin syncs in with its tools and skills.

The tools run on your computer, so use it in Claude Code or Cowork. Web and mobile chat load the skills only.

Server zip

  1. Cursor: unzip featureboard-cursor.zip into ~/.cursor/plugins/local/featureboard, then Developer: Reload Window.
  2. OpenClaw: openclaw plugins install ./featureboard-openclaw.tgz (download), then restart the gateway.
  3. Anything else: unzip featureboard-mcp.zip and point your MCP config at it:

Custom MCP · STDIO

  1. Open Plugins → MCPs → Add → Connect to a custom MCP.
  2. Name NativeCAD, Type STDIO, Command to launch npx.
  3. Arguments, one per row: -y then https://featureboard.ai/nativecad/releases/nativecad-mcp-0.20.0.tgz
  4. Working directory: the folder your STEP, STL and drawings should land in, e.g. Documents\NativeCAD. Leave the environment variables empty, then press Save.

Needs Node.js 18+. First launch takes a few seconds while npx fetches the server. Won't start on Windows? Set the command to cmd and the arguments to /c, npx, -y, then the URL.

Then set it up

  1. Pick an output folderThe install card (or the working directory, in ChatGPT and Codex) sets where your STEP, STL, drawings and print files land. A NativeCAD folder in Documents works well.
  2. Get your free keyModelling works with no key. A free Education / Maker key opens import, export, save, mesh-to-B-rep, quoting and PCB. Get a free key, then tell Claude “Activate my NativeCAD key CSLV1-…”. It is stored on your machine and checked offline. Making things to sell? A seat adds commercial rights.
  3. Connect your slicer optionalPoint the install settings at Bambu Studio and NativeCAD slices for real, with true print time and filament. Print walkthrough

Then say
