Education and maker use is free. Give us an address, confirm it, and a key comes back — usually within a minute.
No key at all
The evaluation loop runs unregistered: cad_evaluate and its report tools take a
design brief end to end and tell you what the kernel can and cannot do. Modeling and export
are gated until a key is present.
Free registered key — this page
The full toolset opens. Non-commercial use only, and the "Powered by CADSolver" attribution
stays on in the viewer. That attribution is the price of the tier.
Paid
Commercial design work is a NativeCAD MCP / Modeler seat; shipping the kernel inside
something you distribute is the Kernel SDK. Both on the
pricing page.
Paid keys can turn failure reporting off with their licence.
Free keys report failures
When NativeCAD fails, it sends what broke, the version, your key id, the kinds of input (never the
values), and a small test case your computer builds from simple made-up shapes. Your models, files,
names and coordinates are never sent. If you write a bug report yourself, file paths, file names,
part, body and parameter names, engraved text and coordinates that match your geometry are removed
first. The rest of what you typed is sent. After a failure, NativeCAD uses some of your computer's
processor in the background to build the test case. Free keys have no off switch.
Paid keys can turn failure reporting off with their licence. Turning it off also stops the
background work.
