Race game

Track Limits: race Colonel Cool One in your browser.

Colonel Cool One is a car designed in NativeCAD. Every panel you see is meshed from its exact B-spline surfaces, and the mass, centre of gravity and suspension points the game uses are measured off the same model.

What's in it

Circuits

3 circuits

Jeddah, Le Mans, Nordschleife, night and day, with the walls, kerbs and white lines the car actually drives on. Run all four wheels past the line and the lap is deleted.

Field

Up to seven AI opponents

Each opponent draws its car at random from the roster: Colonel Cool One or Minotaur. Race them, or watch the AI drive.

Garage

Look round the cars

The menu's Garage opens every design on the roster to orbit and zoom, with its dimensions and mass. New designs join the roster and the Garage as they are built.

Controls

Keyboard, gamepad or phone

Arrows or WASD, any standard gamepad, or on-screen pedals. Eight cameras, Straight Mode, boost, a ghost of your best lap, and rewind.

How real it is

The geometry and mass layout come from the model. Downforce, drag, power and the tyre and suspension settings are estimates chosen for the game, not validated results, so treat the lap times as a game's.
