Games built by their players.
Subscribe, get votes, and spend them on the games and features you want made. There is no publisher in the middle widening every game until it stops being that game: the players fund it, so the players steer it.
Four moves. No middlemen.
A subscription is a vote. Votes set the build order. The games answer to the people paying for them.
Subscribe
BoardGames runs on the NativeCAD subscription for now. Each subscription carries a share of votes every cycle, and play access while it is active.
Split your votes
Put them all on one game or spread them out. Back a game as a whole, or pick the exact features you want built first, and change your mind any time before the cycle closes.
Ask for what is missing
Don't see your kind of game? Request it. When enough subscribers back a request, it becomes a project with its own board and its own vote.
Play what you fund
Games are subscribe-to-play. A live game costs money every month to run, and when that money comes from the players, so do the decisions.
On the board now.
Two you can play today, one deep in development, with screenshots and the tickets on the bench. The rest are up to you.
What we will not do.
Every game here is meant to be the best version of its kind, not a little of everything.
Widen a game until it stops being that game
The usual pressure is to broaden every game toward the biggest possible audience. Here the people who want this game are the ones paying for it, so it gets to stay itself.
Pick the games for you
We do not decide which genres deserve to exist. If people subscribe to make a game, it gets made.
Ship placeholder geometry
Ships, stations and machines are modelled in NativeCAD, a real solid modeller, and held to a fidelity bar before they reach a game.
Waste your time
Immersion is a choice. The long walk, the tram and the elevator can be there for the view, with a fast way around when you have somewhere to be.
Hide the work
Every game runs on a FeatureBoard board. You see what shipped, what is next, and the ticket each vote moves.
Is voting live?
Pre-voting is open now to paid NativeCAD subscribers: sign in and your votes are saved and count in the first cycle, which opens on 1 November 2026. Cycles run monthly, and if everything voted into a cycle ships early, the next one opens straight away. Without a subscription the wallet is a preview in your browser and nothing is counted. The full rules are published before the first cycle closes.
What does a subscription get me?
100 votes a cycle for each paid NativeCAD seat, and access to play while the subscription is active. For now BoardGames is part of the NativeCAD subscription; free Education and Maker keys do not carry votes.
How do votes turn into work?
Every feature you can vote on is a real ticket on that game's FeatureBoard board, and its id is shown next to it. At the end of a cycle the totals set the order those tickets get built in.
Can I change my votes?
Yes, as often as you like until the cycle closes.
Why do I have to subscribe to play?
Servers, builds and the people and agents doing the work cost money every month. Subscriptions pay for that directly, which is what lets each game answer to its players instead of to a publisher.
My kind of game isn't here.
Request it. Requests are posted for every subscriber to see and back; the ones that cross the backing threshold become projects.
Who makes the games?
Lewis Valentine and a fleet of AI agents working on FeatureBoard boards, with NativeCAD modelling every ship, station and machine. Claude is coming into the games too, as part of the world you play in.
Are "Starship Entrepreneurs" and "Edge of the World" the final names?
Both are working titles.
Pick a game. Spend a vote.
Or ask for the one nobody is making yet.
