NativeBIM / Demos / Warehouse check
NativeBIM by NativeCAD
IFC warehouse model, generated and checkedIFC warehouse model, read back with no rule violations
A rear-load warehouse written as IFC4 by the NativeBIM builder from a test-fit option, then read back through the NativeBIM reader and checked against every schema rule in the standard.
A 480,000 SF warehouse with 118 doors, written as IFC4 in 9,174 records and checked: 16,636 rule evaluations over 9,174 entities found 0 violations. Captured with docs/launch/site/capture.js (method).
The model
docs/launch/site/capture.js (method)packages/core/src/validate/where.js (method) by docs/launch/site/capture.jstests/authoring/builder/warehouse_sample.js and ifcopenshell.validate --rules (method)The rule checker evaluates the EXPRESS WHERE, UNIQUE and DERIVE rules and the global rules of the schema over the model it reads back. IfcOpenShell is not part of the capture script: its result above was recorded by hand on the same file this capture reads. The command to rerun it is below.
What is in it
Tilt-up concrete walls, rolling dock and grade doors and man doors in their walls, steel tube columns on the interior grid, a slab on grade and a flat roof, an office pod with partitions and storefront, and spaces for the office, the warehouse, the truck court and the car field, with zones and Uniformat II references.

Assumptions the builder labels as its own, not taken from the layout: a 3 ft parapet, a 7 in slab, a 6 in roof, 9 1/4 in panels, 14 ft partitions, storefront sizes, a 4 ft dock height and door panel thicknesses.
Ask it questions
The same model answers plain questions, each with the GlobalIds of the elements behind the answer: ask the model. To look at it in 3D, open the viewer.
Reproduce it
node docs/launch/site/capture.js
node tests/authoring/builder/warehouse_sample.js
python -m ifcopenshell.validate --rules tests/out/aut0_warehouse.ifc
The builder takes a fixed seed (aut0-ridgefield-sample), so the GlobalIds are the same on every run. Option wh-1b6f1b8844d4.
